Earlier this week, I shared my cunningly fast and simple breakfast parfait made using Princes tinned fruit.

I reckon this is a perfect prize in the run-up to Christmas if you need to stock up the cupboards. Don’t forget tinned fruit – it’s perfect when last-minute guests show up, and is an easy way of ensuring the kids get one of their five a day. Personally, Christmas isn’t Christmas in our house unless my Mum makes a jelly with tinned mandarin segments, and her lime cheesecake with mandarin is another family classic.

    I hardly ever eat breakfast but do make sure I eat plenty of fresh, tinned and pot fruit (I usually prefer to eat my fruit on its own as a snack rather than added to another dish) – I love fruit, a sweet treat that is really healthy :o)

    Fruit for breakfast in our house tends to be straight from the bowl! However if I’ve had enough time to prepare it then we love overnight oats where I layer oats, yoghurt and strawberrys and leave them in the fridge over night. Yummy

    Might be a bit too obscure for some people but a happy accident. I had strawberries on my pancakes which doesn’t sound too weird but I was having bacon and maple syrup as well lol. A very tasty accident. I do also love fruit on cereal and of course orange juice to drink.
